FINAL REFLECTION

• What have I learnt in this module?

I have learned that to create a design that is impactful, it is important to implement design principles. It's not always about creating something beautiful, but rather something that can speak to the viewer and leave a lasting impression on them. Understanding and applying design principles such as balance, contrast, emphasis, and unity can greatly enhance the effectiveness of a design in conveying its message. Additionally, mastering design principles can improve the quality of a design but also empower designers to effectively communicate their ideas and engage viewers on a deeper level.

• What did I enjoy the most?

I really enjoyed the whole process. While conducting my research, I discovered new artists or artworks that are really inspiring. Additionally, I appreciated the opportunity to showcase my creativity, this experience allowed me to explore different perspectives and styles and also encouraged me to experiment with various techniques and approaches in my own work.

• What did I not enjoy the most?

I think the only thing I didn't appreciate was the lack of time, which was due to the fact that it was a short semester. I would have liked to have more time to reflect and work on my projects. 

• What have I learnt about myself through this module?

I believe that throughout this module, I've come to realize that I can be very creative; however, I may be limited in terms of knowledge. I can generate a lot of ideas, but sometimes I struggle with translating them into reality due to a lack of technique. This realization has highlighted the importance of continuously expanding my knowledge base and acquiring new skills to effectively bring my creative concepts to life. 

• What has changed and what has not in my learning journey?

I think nothing really changed in my learning journey, apart from the fact that I'm now aware of design principles which will eventually help me the future. 

• What could be improved in this module?

I can't think of anything to be improved in this module, everything was alright. I'm satisfied with the experience I had in the module and found it well-structured and effective in meeting my learning needs.
